The Project goal was to fit-out and modernise the existing Service Management Centre which Eircom also showcases to corporate and commercial audiences. The seamless incorporation of the large video wall at the front of the SMC and the quality finishes are of paramount importance in any interior project and even more so here. A key requirement of the contract was the ability and commitment to deliver fit-out competence and skills, and a completed project, of the highest quality.
The project delivery team worked extremely closely together on all aspects of the design and construction to ensure detailing and interfacing of the highest quality. This collective effort has resulted in the delivery of an exceptional Fit Out project delivered on time, below budget, to very high standards and with zero accidents The Service Management Centre is in operation 24 / 7.
Managing the project in the centre of a large operational telcom complex presented multiple challenges of logistics, programming and management. A critical requirement of the project was to ensure there was no disruption to Eircom operations and staff in the existing complex whilst works were carried out. This was achieved with total stakeholder satisfaction.
