Earlsfort Terrace | Dublin | 2018

Heavy grade refurb with addition of 2 floors in city centre location

The Earlsfort Terrace building was brought into the 21st century by this heavy grade refurbishment which included the addition of 2 storey's which added new brightness and gave the building an injection of life.

The client had a vision of a nice bright, office space to make the most of the breath-taking views of Dublin city centre. The penthouse extension and beautiful façade went beyond the client’s vision and brought his wonderful building through time. With the Conrad Hotel adjacent and the National Concert Hall close by careful planning was required. Our team’s collaboration and expertise proved vital in delivering an outstanding project for a very happy client.

The installation of solar controlled glazing further enhances the performance of this building. The formation of a new lift pit in the basement included piling works which our team dealt with expertly. This project was an extremely challenging one and the logistical constraints meant our team needed to be one step ahead throughout the works and ensured a top-class project was delivered.

The Outcome

The new-look Earlsfort Terrace Block E building is one that belongs in the high-end location it sits. With spectacular views from the glazed elevations in the penthouse this goes above and beyond what the client envisioned before works began.
